Skipping Stones
Director's Statement: Skipping Stones is my first film shot in 16mm. It’s inspired by a place I grew up in and memories I miss. It’s also no doubt inspired by my friends who have a passion in shooting analog film. Sergio actually kickstarted this project when he gave me a roll of film for my birthday. The storyboards for this came out so naturally in one sitting at a cafe. Huge thanks to Caden Barlett a beautiful score. After several meetings and many AlexG/Masakatsu Takagi references, he produced and performed something that really elevates the entire piece.
